Terry Gardner's Biography

Terry Gardner is the founder and President of Gardner Capital Advisors, Inc. Until GCA's formation in May of 2005, Terry served as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Deutsche Bank's Global Securities Research Division. In these roles, Terry was responsible for overseeing the division's regulatory and compliance matters; development, procurement, and deployment of information technology; management of research distribution; and development and analysis of research commercialization opportunities. He also served as the division's point man on budgetary, accounting, off-shoring, and research content issues. Terry began his DB management career in 2000 when he was named Associate Director of North American Equity Research, a position he held for four years.

Prior to being named ADoR, Terry had been a Research Analyst with coverage responsibility for the Transportation sector. In 1999 and 2000 Terry was ranked as an All-Star Analyst in the Wall Street Journal's annual analyst survey and in 2000 was named the top stock picker in his category. Terry joined Deutsche Bank in 1994 as a proprietary stock and bond market analyst where he helped formulate the firm’s equity market strategy and tactical asset allocation recommendations. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Terry worked at Alex.Brown and Sons as an Associate Research Analyst, covering transportation companies.

From 1988 to 1993, he served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and participated in combat actions in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and in Somalia. Terry is a graduate of St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in Economics. He currently resides on Long Island with his wife and two children.
